We run PHP versions 5.5.9, 5.6.26, 7.0.11. We could enable older versions too if you really need it. Also, MySQL version 5.5.52.
We currently have three main applications enabled and ready to use, WordPress, Drupal, and Joomla. WordPress comes equipped with tools that turn on an additional control panel where you can easily perform security audits, run updates, quickly installing plugins, to name a few - this is perfect for those of you that with lots of customers. You can install almost any version of each. We enable additional one click app installs as time goes on (we have to test them with our server first).
We can but we have to still build this feature into our system. The problem we ran into is space. MaxIOPS as well as SSD space is still expensive so we must charge an extra fee, albeit a small fee for use of this service. Once we finish programming the extra add-on capability we'll email those that have signed up for our newsletter. Sign up now if you haven't already.
We're working on that and other features that will be available to all our customers. Sign up for our newsletter to receive the latest announcements, if you haven't already.
Our hosting company provides us with proprietary technology they call MaxIOPS. You can read about it here. We first tried out OVH servers (Canadian company) which took us about 40 minutes to install a server from scratch - sometimes longer. Then there's RamNode, which we still we still use today. Yet, installing a fresh server and all it's components in about 15 minutes with UpCloud made them an easy choice. The differences between using MaxIOPS equipped servers and non-equipped servers was easy to see.
Our target client base are those that manage a large quantity of websites. These customers need a reliable platform at a much lower cost.
We use the Plesk control panel platform. We found that going with a commercial brand we are able to provide maximum services/features to our customers.
The move question: Yes you can but it may not be advantageous to do so. We use Let's Encrypt SSL certificates (more information here) which are, by design, only three month long certificates. You can move them to any web hosting service, just keep in mind that they have a maximum life (when not renewed) for three months.
The bring question: Yes you can! Our control panel allows you to enter the SSL certificate details free of charge.
Yes! We've built the system to enable our users to have the freedom to use our services without having to worry about contracts or major costs if they do not desire or need our web hosting services. You can cancel anytime prior to the renewal date of your subscription which will keep your subscription running up to the date of renewal but thereafter (a few days later) it will be canceled and removed. You won't be charged again.
Coming soon! You'll be able to order email services, more website space, anti-virus, malware scanning, and much more I'm sure. We have plans to also serve CouchDB and NodeJS. Sign up for our newsletter to receive the latest announcements, if you haven't already.
We're a subscription based web hosting provider which means that we charge based on a periodic frequency. Though you can cancel your subscription at any time (your subscription won't renew and you won't be charged again), we don't have a refund policy as of yet. Our subscription is on a month to month basis. If you pay and find you no longer need our services, cancel. Your services will still be available up till the renewal date, one month. We do allow a few days after the renewal date to pass before we remove and permanently delete your subscription.
